Born and raised in Knoxville, TN, I have been writing stories since I learned to read, and writing movies since I learned that people could actually do that for a living (around 5th grade). I produced my first (admittedly rough) feature film at the age of 12, but was winning awards with short films by 15, and working hard on my goal of getting into Tisch School of the Arts.
As a Dramatic Writing Major at Tisch, I wrote and produced several award winning short films and spent equal time in film and television writing courses.
Since graduating, my trusty Director/Producer friend, Ben Nelson, and I have been hard at work getting our thesis film "Karkass Karts" in the can, and freelance producing videos (music and otherwise). I am also working on multiple feature-length screenplays.
When not making movies, I write prose and indulge my fascination with history through a few excellent podcasts and books (which I would be happy to share).
